In June, I reviewed a project by Bronx-born rapper 5th Lettah and Orange, California’s DJ Indjnous, titled Fresh 5 Mix. This 5-track release is pure hip-hop and can be found on Mixcloud, SoundCloud, and YouTube.
5th Lettah is an artist to watch, bringing great flows, sharp punchlines, and storytelling rooted in his influences, including Jay-Z, Nas, and Eminem.
Meanwhile, DJ Indjnous is a seasoned producer/DJ who’s collaborated with legends like Ras Kass, KRS-One, and Kurupt, to name a few. His exceptional DJing and production skills shine on this project, leaving me hooked once again.
In early September, I had the pleasure of reviewing my first-ever female artist for TKOK Entertainment, Gattzilla. Born in Austria, Gattzilla’s single Zilla features freestyle MC Leen on the hook, with production by K Pryme. The track, running just over two minutes, is an uplifting anthem guaranteed to make you move.
Zilla delivers an end-of-summer, carnival vibe, with Gattzilla gliding over the beat effortlessly. Her shout-outs to legends like J Dilla, Lauryn Hill, Ras Kass, and KRS-One only added to the track’s authenticity. What I loved most about Gattzilla is her standout presence as a female artist. She tackles real-world issues without succumbing to the over-sexualization that dominates much of today’s music.
Leen’s catchy hook proclaims Gattzilla’s arrival to “eat up the beat and drop more heat,” and if this track is any indication, she’s set to bring even more fire in the coming year. All the artists I’ve mentioned have been featured on DJ Sammy J’s Itch FM Xposure Show, The Killa Tapes Radio Show, and Rhyme Republic on Bolton FM.
I’m excited to see what TKOK Entertainment has in store for 2025. So far, everything they’ve released has been raw, real, and true to the core of Hip-Hop.
"January 2025 Blog"
Welcome back all my hiphop heads to a new year and fresh start in 2025, I will get straight on it with this review as it's been a long time coming and this event I'm about to talk about was one hell of an epic night put on by TKOK entertainment, this event was on the 14/12/24 at the hottest spot in high wycombe tone coffee shop 7pm till 11pm and free entry, it was tkok entertainment 1 year anniversary and what a great lil celebration it was.
Starting was xp on the decks, spinning classic hiphop tracks and keeping the vibe alive and chilled, now this dj/producer I will say is always and absolutely on point with his skills, his talents are beyond amazing and xp being of the new generation is very in tune with his old skool roots as well as the new skool.
MF Vandal the second act to follow on stage, now if you haven't ever seen MF on stage JD HIPHOP REVIEW highly recommends you check him out, his energy and stage presence is incredible and I really believe that a man like MF with his skills and ability on story telling on the mic he will put high wycombe on the map, he rocked it at Tone Coffee Shop that night but then I'd expect nothing less from the MF.
MDV third act of the night and what an artist he is, MDV is known as king of the rowdy and once you see him on stage your understand why, with his dirty rowdy hard lyrics the man brings the roof off and he even had paradox up on stage to do one of there songs together, they bounce off each other and both brought the heat, both MDV and paradox are ones to watch this year.
MUJIN XZ (Zenati and Xp) a hiphop DJ/PRODUCER duo that took to the decks, these 2 are just absolute geniuses when it comes to making beats, they are here to leave a dent in the culture, all beats played were 10 out of 10, watching these young legends do their ting is mind blowing and if you love ya beats you must go check these guys out.
JANA GATT AKA GATZILLA, this artist was actually one of my favourite of the night, purely cos she flipped it round this night, I first saw gatzilla April 2024 when she supported parrish Smith aka pmd at tone coffee shop, it was her first gig back then but the one I watched recent was different in the best way possible, I've watched her grow on stage, her confidence poured through and energy was through the roof, was an honour and privilege to watch this that night as she rocked the mic like a true pro.
LEEN well this guy here is possibly the best freestyler I've ever seen on stage, he spits for time like he don't stop or don't even breathe, he pulled out punchline after punchline, bar after bar, I actually thought at one point the mic was going burst into flame, I've seen leen many times at Tone Coffee Shop and he never disappoints.
BURNED AGAIN AND NOBLE6
Both these DJ'S who are part of tkok records brought us a bit of dance music to the night and shut the place down, with the grimey D&B dance tunes being mixed up in the place, it suddenly felt like a mini rave had started, was brilliant to watch these 2 do their ting, both are extremely talented and you must go see them. Both top guys as well.
This was hosted by the man himself k Pryme, this man here is an absolute diamond a true professional at what he does and I'm blessed and honoured to be able to do the work I do with and for him, multi talented as a DJ/producer and a top host.
The whole night was live streamed on FRQNC radio, go check them out!

The Eyeconics
Album title ANTHOLGY
Recorded 2017-2020
The Eyeconics are K Pryme the jaegar and SB The anomaly
This is a 25 track album and it’s out now
This album here is a introduction to what I would call real greatness, with K Pryme on the beats and SB the anomaly on the bars, it has many features and including two of my favourite artists KRS ONE and RA The rugged man, Skitzo, Nat James, Monique, Bluette, TKO, Sean Shakespeare.
This is a pure classic album mixing old style with new style and lots of classic samples through the project, this is my first time coming across SB the anomaly and let me tell about this incredibly talented artist, the man makes music for everyone, from love songs, to songs on networking to songs on the love for his family and the love for the culture, I think this hiphop duo is here to take over and with the help of JD HIP HOP REVIEW (cos that’s what I do) I look forward to seeing what these two legends in the making have to bring….. Here is three songs I picked to talk about, I picked these cos of the samples……
Track one, Welcome to my imagination
This track has a classic sample on it “ Pure Imagination” written by Leslie bricusse and Anthony Newley and is off the film Willy wonka and the chocolate factory, song starts off very relaxed and with the pure imagination sample, then the beat drops, and it’s more chilled then a summer evening with SB welcoming you to his imagination, In this song SB talks about his creative side and his imagination and he walks you through the basics, his flow and cadence is so nice and I so get a chilled out summer vibe track from his sound and the bar when he says “Music is the best thing to ever exist” I totally agree with him on that, REAL TALK
The Song is a great start to the album with pure positive vibes.
Track 13, God only knows
Again with a classic sample “God only knows” By the Beach Boys. This track here starts off with SB jumping straight in to a up tempo beat, the beat makes you smile just like the positive message that SB has to say on this track thanking his friends and family for keeping him on the up, this is the sort of hiphop I love and the sort of hiphop that would help any fan get through the toughest of times, straight summer bumping music, top teir production from K Pryme and beautiful bars from SB.
SB AND K PRYME BIG UP FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG!
Track 23, I Must Go Back feat Skitzo
This here is a crazy sample from a song called my little brown shack by Billy Ed Wheeler (I Think) how the hell did k Pryme even know this existed, but then this is what I love about producers and the samples they find and use, This shows K Prymes excellent ear for the art, The track starts off with what sounds like a bad Elvis impression and then the beat snaps, it bangs and your head will be bopping and you will be singing “ I MUST GO BACK TO MY LITTLE BROWN SHACK” SB takes you back to his roots and jumps straight in with a bar comparing himself to Jim Carey in liar liar, saying jim ain’t realer then him, BAR!!! SB once again smashes the ball out the park with these bars and I will say this man is on a mission and he is showing you just how real he is.
Skitzo is up next, he comes in hard and shows you he ain’t playing he ain’t to mess with, he flows over this beat like he owned it, real bars, real skills, real talk.
If this album is just an introduction what’s there next album going to be like? I’ll tell ya pure FIRE….
These 2 guys and incredibly gifted and talented artists and I really look forward to seeing what they got for us hiphop fans next.
Thank you for reading this Blog…. Peace

Yes yes all my hiphop heads so I’m here to talk about an incredible night at tone coffee shop put on by tkok entertainment.
Xp: The night started off with xp doing his ring on the decks and dropping new and old bangers, now xp is an incredible do and producer and I’ve always thought if he learnt to spit bars he could probably shut this rap game down.
Zenati: This man is showed us his production skills, he has a cool sound which is infused with jazz and swing and well all his beats bang, and he is defo one to watch out for, his set was smooth and he is always a pleasure to watch at work.
K Pryme: he was the last on the decks and obviously he is a true professional with his skills, he mixes his tracks like a true professional DJ, but then you’d expect nothing less, and all through his set he dropped bangers.
Leen: How the hell do I start this??? The man started off with a accapella that went on for (seemed like days) 5 to 8 mins, he spat the truth and had bar after bar punchline after punchline, he did the ultimate freestyle, but then he is leen the best uk freestyler EVER.
Open mic was MDV, Niceone jm, Little G, DJ henna and the man himself tone (tone coffee shop)
Was great to see all these guys get up and do there ring, they all have there own energy and skill set, own styles and flows. MDV and niceone jm go well together and little g jumping on was a nice touch (big up all 3 of you) Dj henna jumped on and spat a few bars which was super cool as he is a known dj but has a hidden talent, and then tone well tone has got bars and not everyone knows he can spit, this isn’t my first time to see him on stage but unfortunately we lost tone coffee shop end of September in high Wycombe and this was the last tkok entertainment event to be held at this venue.
All in all it was a 10 out of 10 night and I will definitely miss that place. Big up to all at tkok entertainment and all the attended.
PEACE
